Transforming a hoarder house into an 1854 sqft modern farmhouse with natural light, designer finishes, and indoor/outdoor living.
When the Bridges MR dba Renew Connections Remodel development team first laid eyes on the Campbell Modern Farmhouse, it was a far cry from the stunning, sun-filled home it is today. The original 1950s ranch home was a mere 1000 square feet and in dire need of a complete overhaul. But the team saw potential in the property and set out to transform it into the beautiful, spacious, and modern farmhouse it is today.
The transformation was no small feat. The team had to demolish the existing structure and start from scratch. The final product is an 1854 square foot, 4 bed, 3.5 bath home that is a perfect blend of contemporary design and farmhouse charm.
One of the most striking features of the home is the vaulted ceilings in the living areas. The team added skylights to bring in natural light and create an open and airy feel. Skylights were also added in the hallway, which previously lacked windows, to ensure that every inch of the home was bathed in natural light.
The designer touches throughout the home are what really make it stand out. From the sliding barn doors to the multiple powder and ensuite baths, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The designer also focused on creating an indoor/outdoor living space to make the most of the California climate. The backyard is a park-like oasis that is perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing in the sun.
The contemporary custom kitchen is a true showstopper. With stainless steel appliances, custom floating wood shelving, subway tile backsplash, Caesarstone countertops and a large island with Feiss Brynne Pendant Lighting, it's a chef's dream. The kitchen opens to the dining area, which overlooks the backyard, making it perfect for entertaining.
Designer touches and finishes throughout the home include wide plank engineered hardwood flooring, two master en-suites, stunning bathrooms with extra storage, recessed lighting, DP windows, central heat and A/C, tankless water heater, skylights, indoor laundry and drought tolerant landscaping.
